Sri. TSK hails from a family of renowned musicians. He began his violin lessons at the tender age of 5, under the guidance of his father - T. K. Subramanya Shastry (renowned violinist). He began his musical career as a violinist at the age of 12 and over the past 35 years, he has established himself as a renowned classical solo violinist as well as an outstanding accompanist. He has conducted several music workshops worldwide, as a part of advanced training and research. He has been a part of various exam boards across the globe. He has been appreciated for his modern teaching methodologies yet retaining the sanctity of carnatic classical music. He has received several accolades, awards & titles from prestigious institutions all over the world.
