Guitar




The Guitar is a plucked string instrument, usually played with fingers or a pick. It consists of a body with a rigid neck to which the strings, generally six in number are fixed. It is quite challenging to play and has a balanced repertoire due to its presence in fashion since the 18th century. However, its greatest charm lies in its intimate and delicate nuance of youthful tone. It is amongst the few instruments that can play the lead, chords, rhythm as well as bass. As it can be played and sung by the same person, it is also called the one-man orchestra.
