Rhythms College of Fine Arts, Bangalore

Rhythms has set up a Charitable Trust - “Hazari Prasad Foundation” - in memory of late Sri K.S. Hazari Prasad, father of Dr. Vishwanath Prasad H. The primary mission of this Trust is to provide free fine art education to the underprivileged and visually impaired. The Trust was inaugurated by the then Governor of Karnataka Sri T. N. Chaturvedi and Bharat Ratna Pandit Bhimsen Joshi in 2004.

Objectives

Supporting the visually impaired and the underprivileged by giving free Fine Arts education, instruments and medical aid.
Scholarship for pursuing Fine Arts to deserving and underprivileged budding artists.
Providing platform and Medical aid to underprivileged artists.
Recognizing and awarding “Kala Seva Puraskar” which carries a citation, cash reward, to artists who have contributed immensely to the field of Fine Arts.

Providing financial aid to the underprivileged & needy artists for their medical cause.
