Theater

This course introduces and explores theatre from page to stage as a live performing art. Topics include the relationship between theatre and society (historical and contemporary), dramatic structure, theatrical representation, and the crafts of theatre artists such as directors, designers, playwrights, and actors. Further, this course includes exclusively principles in stage movement, voice, diction, and pantomime, Practice techniques to overcome stage-fright and develop self-confidence. Learners can concentrate on improvisational techniques and acting skills for in-class performance and video projects in a real-world environment with state-of-the-art facilities such as auditorium, sophisticated sound - lighting equipment and props.
