Drums

Rhythm is a primary element of music and drums are an inevitable part of Western music since ages. A drum kit is a collection of drums and other percussion instruments, typically cymbals to be played by a single player, with drumsticks held in both hands, and the feet operating pedals that control the hi-hat cymbal and beater for the bass drum. A drum kit consists of a mix of skin membranes and idiophones. The drums together with the bass are meant to be the rhythmic backbone of a track.
