Ranjan, hails from the city of temples, Bhubaneswhwar (Odisha). His musically inclined parents introduced him to the world of music when he was just 5 years, and they have been his source of inspiration ever since. His mentors, Pandit Sunil Singh Mohant and Smt.K.Bhuboneswari Mishra, have helped him on his path to musical perfection. He then received advanced training under Padmabhushan Dr.N.Rajam. He has done his post-graduation in classical Violin from Utkal Sangeet Mahavidyalaya. His flair for innovation, while maintaining the sanctity for tradition, has been widely acclaimed by audience, both in India and the world. He has also shared the stage with many celebrity artists and classical stalwarts.
